Neon Groove Spin is a neon rock-band slot game. You lead a band on a World Tour, and every stage is a short "set" played on the Beat Drop Slot. Clear the stage's score target before your drops run out, bank your stars, and climb from a cramped garage to a sold-out stadium. This guide walks through every screen and system in the game.
Neon Groove Spin is free to play and made purely for entertainment. It has no real-money betting, and none of its coins, energy or fragments can be exchanged for cash or anything of real-world value.
1. The Goal
Each stage sets a score target — for example, "Score 50,000 or more." You spin the Beat Drop Slot to build up points across a limited number of drops. Reach the target and you clear the stage, earn up to three stars, and unlock the next node on the World Tour. Fall short and you can simply replay the stage and try again.
2. The Beat Drop Slot
The slot uses a 7-column by 6-row reel packed with neon symbols. When you drop the reel, symbols cascade into place and any matching combinations across the rows are counted toward your stage score.
- Set your total bet. Use the minus and plus controls at the bottom to choose a bet level. A larger bet increases the value of every winning line.
- Drop the reel. Tap the large guitar-pick button to spin. Tap it again to stop early if you want a faster result.
- Read the result. Winning lines light up and their value is added to your running Score for the stage, shown at the top of the screen.
- Watch your spins. The header shows how many drops you have used out of the stage limit. Make them count.
Two optional controls speed things up: Auto keeps dropping the reel for you, and Turbo shortens the spin animation so results resolve faster.
3. Symbols & Pay Tiers
Symbols are grouped into value tiers. The more of a symbol you line up in one drop — from three across up to a full seven — the larger the payout.
- Lightning & Pick (Tier 1): the most common symbols, paying small but frequent amounts.
- Mic & Vinyl (Tier 2): mid-value symbols that push your score along steadily.
- Band (Tier 3): the four band members — Vocal, Guitar, Drums and Bass — are the highest standard payout.
- Wild: substitutes for any other symbol to help complete a winning line, and carries the top payout when it lines up on its own.
4. The HYPE Meter
Below the header sits the HYPE meter. Every winning drop charges it. When the meter fills completely, it triggers a run of free drops — extra spins that don't consume your stage limit — and applies a x2 multiplier to what you score during that run. Filling the HYPE meter is the fastest way to blow past a stage target, so build your bets and spins around charging it.
5. Energy
Starting a stage costs a small amount of energy. Energy refills automatically over time while you're away, so if you run low you can rest and return with a full bar. Energy is a pacing system only — it is never sold for real money and holds no cash value.
6. The World Tour
The World Tour is your stage map, split across four venues that grow in size and spectacle:
- Garage — where the band plays its first chord.
- Club — neon doors, smoke machines and strobe floors.
- Arena — the crowd surges into a midnight riot.
- Stadium — the final encore under a thousand stars.
Each venue holds a run of stage nodes. Clear a node to unlock the next, and finish a venue to open the one after it. Stages you've already beaten can be replayed any time to farm coins, stars and fragments.
7. Stars & Fame
Clearing a stage awards up to three stars based on how well you played it. Stars accumulate on the venue and mark your overall progress. Playing also raises your Fame level: as your Fame bar fills, you level up, which reflects your standing as a rising band. Higher-value activity earns Fame faster.
8. Vinyl Collection
Scattered through the game are fragments. Collect enough of the right fragments and you can press a new record in the Vinyl Collection. Five tracks are available — Neon Heart, Midnight Riot, Echo Drive, Star Static and Final Encore — each setting a different mood for your sets. Neon Heart is unlocked from the start; the rest are earned through play.
9. Daily & Long-Term Tasks
The Tasks screen keeps a steady stream of goals:
- Newbie tasks are one-time objectives that teach the basics and reward generously.
- Daily tasks refresh every day and offer a reliable trickle of coins and fragments.
- Main tasks are long-haul goals — clear every stage, collect every fragment, master the HYPE meter — with the biggest rewards of all.
10. Tips for a Strong Encore
- Match your bet to the target: bigger targets reward bigger, HYPE-charging bets.
- Chase the HYPE meter — a x2 free-drop run often clears a stage on its own.
- Replay early venues to bank fragments before tackling a tougher stage.
- Check your tasks before you play so your spins count toward multiple rewards at once.
That's the whole show. Grab your pick, drop the beat, and give the crowd an encore.
